I do not like MCU Odin. I really don't. He ruined everything.
The only thing I rightfully owned is my opinion. 😄 Just a passionate fangirl.
The reason why there is always Thor & Loki and why they remain, brothers.
A Visual Analysis Essay.
My character essay is Marvel Cinematic Universe canon Except for Infinity War; Hell no. Meta Essay.
No, I do not find we were eight at the time logical conclusion; I do not believe Thor and Loki are twins. My brain: Loki is 16 and Thor is 23. Done. Every time I read about these brothers; Thor is annoyed, the middle child.
Thor is still a hot head.
These brothers protect each other.
Loki is the youngest who does what he pleased.
Why is their bond so complex? They are both smart in their own way. Miscommunication plays a part in these factors. They are both hilariously funny and very sarcastic. But they really don't have anything in common. Loki definitely suits being King, but he never really wanted the throne; he rather is a Royal Advisor. He was mind controlled by his Sceptor and was forced to rule Earth. His real self never cared to rule. Loki was framed, tortured, bullied, and manipulated. His mind-control eyes were blue while his real eyes are green. He was scared. I would like to give him a hug. He is misunderstood and deserves way better. He is only 16!!
Thor never realized what he truly wants we see him in his latest movie that he was on the path to self-discovery it seems he lives for freedom and heroism. He felt he was forced to be King and under all the pressure.
Since the end of time and eternity, they have been brothers it does not matter if they are not biological when Thor was 7 years old, he tries to do his best to protect his little brother. That is why love is powerful. Even when he always vaguely claims it. He is a protector. He protects his younger brother, so he has him join his friend groups.
Loki resents his older brother due to the point...because Odin always favors him since Thor is the golden child no matter the circumstances. He successful sabotage Thor’s Coronation showing he was not ready he was the rightful king. He was not lustful, blood thirst for war; this is why Loki was jealous unknown to him he did not give a damn about Odin's approval all he wants is his big brother's approval, so he thought the only way to get Thor's attention was to start mayhem but it was Ragnarök's arc they were in cusp of finally improving their bond as brothers; Thor finally accepts and see his brother as truly his equal they are individual; not know their place his past self-declare from that he grew from that; because all he still saw is his little brother who tag-along to annoy the hell out of him; he uses tough love a lot; as shown in the Avengers, his other movies also he slammed Loki to the ground and demanded to know where the Tesseract and Loki reply Miss you too even though Thor at the point is glad he is alive and misses him too he is more furious also the fact he fakes his death he felt like a babysitter he wants to scold his little brother instead hence do I’ll look like to be in a gaming mood? when in the deleted scene and Loki says no matter if he is jealous he saw him as his friend he loves him. All Thor replies: thank you he loves him too, but his action is his love language he is very secretive, so he makes his brother tough. Odin molds him into a toxic parenting skill that being vulnerable is not okay. He did not want to share his grief with his brother which is his way to protect him. Because as Loki says, Love is a Dagger in his show he is describing his bond with his brother because Loki stabs his brother, they are not that good at communicating with each other. They both love each other but they say the complete opposite when Thor says you are late; Loki quip back; and you are missing an eye. That logical theory way of saying I love you; I miss you and I'm sorry. Despite how tragic and dysfunctional their bond has to heal and recover. I wish Asgard has therapy because Odin is a shitty father.
Thor grew less self-centered and arrogant, he is now resourceful, kinder, and more empathetic; during his time on Earth as he realizes his constantly pushing Loki and belittling him away has broken his younger brother's heart completely no time to heal, and turned him bitter. He came to a realization, that what Loki truly wanted was to be loved.
What is the opposite of hate? Indifference. Loki finally realizes that he would rather have Thor be angry with him than be gone from his life forever. He accepts himself, and Thor as his brother. That is why he turns a new leaf and becomes an Anti-Hero because of his love for his brother. He did not care if Asgard perished; he cared about his brother. He looks up to him, admires him, and sees him as his role model. Notice in his comedy satire play, he only really sincerely apologizes to Thor. The only thing he cared about is his mom and Thor. Odin, not so much. He is neutral with his father even though he strips him from his powers since he was still rightfully burning with resentment he didn't abandon him to die he left him at the Senior Center to give him the mercy he wants to show Odin he is hypocritical, used him as an olive branch treaty to end the war. When Odin says he loves him he only says that because he realized he failed him. Loki being that intelligent knows Odin was not a beneficial ruler of the Nine Realms, All-Father he was ruthless and war Lord. That is why he bans Thor to not being like him. The only thing he was truly upset that Thor called him an old fool they were both failed by Odin. Frigga was a better parent. The only thing he cared about is his precious image; he covered up the truth he is guilty and a coward. Hela, Thor, and Loki are victims.
Destiny, Love, and grief bought them together to be brothers again.
To conclude my essay; It is because of their platonic bond as brothers. It is long-lasting. Because any brothers it does not matter if they are bickering, they always have each other back and are loyal.
