The message calls up on your screen, just like it has for weeks since she first programmed you. It's one tiny word that sets off a chain reaction in your think pan. You fall dim and loose focus. Everything feels floaty and blurred. You know she's telling you stuff but you don't really read it or register any of it. Your body just responds for you. You feel warm and dizzy as you clear the message history again and get up from your pile on the floor. The blank look on your face would be a dead giveaway if anyone had seen you, but you were gone and out of your hive without a word. Lox wouldn't notice until hours later. You walked to her hive and she allowed you inside, her other complacent victim waiting within. The next few hours would be a blur of whatevef she decided to do with you, and a small part of you cried out in the full knowledge that it would be horrible. But by the next evening, all parts of you would only remember being sore and bruise for no reason presumably. The blame would be aimed where she wanted it. She had a planet to run, after all. Can't do that if all her subordinates hate her.
