- so before you were dating, he knew that you were into music and did a little bit on the side, but damn
- he’s no stranger to the internet but when you pop on his feed one day he’s shocked
- syd had no idea how big you were in the electronic scene, and literally gains a whole new appreciation for you. that kind of turned into a crush over time, but I won’t get into the specifics
- when you start dating, you’re an absolute power couple. I mean, come on — up and coming musical artist with their mysterious and hilarious boyfriend? that’s a catch
- he’s your #1 fan and will always make you sign his albums (which he bought with his own money, because he wants to support his s/o in any way he can dammit)
- which he truthfully doesn’t really need when he has the real thing in front of him, but he brags about them online on an anonymous accounts because he can.
- but! very uncharacteristically, he’ll never sell the albums you sign for him. they’re a gift from you, and albeit joking, they mean something to him
- you just laugh when you find out about his mysterious account, recognising it as his one day by the background. he’s embarrassed, but still posts on it — now with your guidance just with a little more teasing for your fans
- he’ll help you make songs! I don’t know how good he’d be at it, but it’s the thought that counts, right?
- that should be the motto for the relationship lol
