Local Retro Spation is playing Space Seed
Rerun TV service ME-TV announces its latest additions to their lineup.
I remember when the fourth episode of The Sorcerer, "Cups and Balls and Murder" was banned by seventeen stations in the South for "Moral Tone". It was one of the earliest examples of tape trading in popular culture, as VHS copies of the episode were passed around via the mail to friends of friends. Was one of the first major tests of the Fair Use clause of copyright law.
If you dig old horror movies, and yearn for the days when they were hosted on TV by someone in a spooky costume and makeup (or if you're like me, was born too late and missed them completely), check out Svengoolie, probably the last surviving horror host out there. He's on Me-TV every Saturday night, complete with corny jokes and goofy sound effects along with, of course, a classic horror flick, good or bad (but mostly bad).
