The Feeling

When you know something is wrong

When you know something just doesn’t seem right

When you know someone else is given the light

The things you do and feel to try and forget

The things you do to try and let go of regret

The symbols of pain as you know they care less

The questions you ask when you know they lie

Trying to believe, but you still ask why

Trying to have trust when it’s already broken

Trying to decode every word that’s spoken

Knowing that something more is going on

As you see a change has been going all along

Being shown things to try and prove their loyalty

Even when they try to act as if they’re royalty

The feeling of no longer be one

The feeling of it never being real

The feeling of completing their deal

The feeling of growing apart

The feeling of never having a heart
