Remember the vanilla slice (aud6) I was raving about from Flour and Chocolate, Brisbane on the earlier post? Took it away and it went on a road trip with us to the Glasshouse Mountains. Slowly devouring it at Mary Cairncross Reserve with these views in Maleny. Didn't get to eat it until two days after it was purchased - and the layers of puff pastry were still crispy and custard was deliciously creamy.
