This quick and easy guacamole recipe makes a tasty and healthy dip or topping that you can make in minutes. It's great for parties, snacks, or making your favorite Mexican food taste better.
Ingredients: 4 ripe avocados. 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced. 1/4 cup tomato, diced. 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped. 1 jalapeo pepper, minced optional. 2 cloves garlic, minced. Juice of 1 lime. Salt and pepper, to taste.
Instructions: Take the pits out of the avocados and cut them in half. Then, scoop the flesh into a bowl. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocados until you get the consistency you want. If you want to, you can add minced jalapeo, chopped tomato, chopped cilantro, and minced garlic to the bowl with the mashed avocados. Add the juice of one lime and stir it all together. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together slowly until it's all well mixed. Check the seasoning and make changes if needed. Put it on tortilla chips right away or use it as a topping for tacos, burritos, or your other favorite foods.
