We Need To Be Better Than This: Roller Derby, Inclusiveness and Audism
Roller derby prides itself on its inclusiveness. We’re open to all body types, all orientations, and increasingly to all genders. We even have places for people who can’t stand the idea of putting on a pair of skates (NSOs rock my world).
When I joined derby I was struck by two things (three, if you count being literally struck on my target zones). One was the way that derby changed how I looked…

thanks buddy...
Liz: Vikki you need to watch this movie- it's about trains which I know you take everyday.
Me: what is it called?
Liz: Midnight Meat Train. You will love it. Bradley Cooper is in it.
Me: it sounds like a horror film.
Liz: it's about murders on a train...wait maybe you won't wanna take the train anymore after you see it. nevermind.
Me: LOL
all aboard the MEAT TRAIN
watched this movie recently. and whist it dose have some intresting stoyline / ideas i feel , that its quite lacking as far as horror gose. ok basic plot out line, there is the train, that i assume in on a metro /city line, and this guy rides the train every day, on the last service, waits for the train to pritty much empty out, then well dose some not verry nice things to whoever else is still on the train at this point. *plot spoiler* the guy is a butcher, so this other guy, a photographer is trying to get to the bottom of some missing persons cases , for why im not sure, but ehh thats what hes doing. any how, he happens apon this ghastly secret and trys to do something about it,
suprize suprize some not very nice things happen to the people closet to him, and he lands imself in the middle of some very fucked up shit.
id tell you what that stuff is specificaly, but it would give away the end of the film, etc. so any ways, as true to the title this move is more or less about a train, and butchery, beeing a horro film, the "meat" here is people.
ok , i DO like this story but the visuals for me were a bit lacking, the dead bodies weret verry belieavable, and for a story the centers around a butcher there was a suprizing lack of dismemberment and exposed organs, . you do get to see a bit of boob, as typical of horro films, but the bodies suspened on the hooks, and they were hung by the HEELS *imporant* , who were all compleatly naked, all of them , some how had there hands together, and covering there "bits"
the hands were tied together, but there was nothing inplace to keep them at hip hight, remember bodies are hung up off the ground, by there feet.
aslo id expect waaay more blood in a film like this/
so yeah, ima rate this movie a 5, its wasent bad, but then it wasent all that good either.
