you could try the air force instead? i mean. its still the military. but. air force is… a little easier than the army. depending on what youre good at. if you test well then i’d recommend air force. im so sorry it may come to this tho, im really hoping it doesnt. :(

The closest air force recruiter is almost 40 miles away, trust me I’ve thought on this a lot and I’d rather do that but, we went to the Army one here in town (my brother was also thinking about enlisting and we needed the soldier to tell him that couldn’t happen because of Certain Things) and while I was listening to his lies it honestly sounded like I had more things I could possibly do in the Army. 

I’ll be signing up for the ASVAB on Wednesday when/if I get the news that I’m not actually working at Not-Townsen

They’re trying to badger me into going back to Tobias/Toby because they just got used to calling me that. 

They say they’re trying but they’re not. Literally all of my trans friends flipped to my new name on a god damned dime. All my friends who aren’t trans but aren’t straight flipped on a dime.

I don’t expect them there overnight, I expect effort. And tbh that’s not too much to ask
