Turn sound on! Gyu Wagyu is the apex of the beef pyramid. On top of all traditional "waygu" practices this farm also adds in toasted olives to the mix. Creating an almost obscene marble that allows for the meat to only be cooked for a brief moment before it starts to crackle and pop. . Turn your headphones up and enjoy the sizzle . . #MeatLoversUnite – Custom Branding for Meatopia 2015 (London)

For a group trip to Meatopia 2015 in London — the ultimate BBQ & music festival — I created a custom visual identity to bring our crew together under one tasty banner: #MeatLoversUnite.

From idea to execution, I developed a playful but bold design system built around meat icons, festival energy, and a clear visual nod to retro Americana. The branding appeared across custom trucker hats, water bottles, and social posts — making our group stand out at the event and easily findable in the crowd.

I designed the logo, icons and layout — and managed all production.

The reaction? Smiles, high-fives, and strangers asking where they could get one.

Grill. Eat. Repeat.

MEATOPIA, L’EVENTO PIÙ CARNIVORO D’EUROPA

Meatopia, sempre una meraviglia! Da oltre dieci anni Meatopia continua a promuovere i valori del suo fondatore, Josh Ozersky, e a trasmettere un messaggio di qualità e sostenibilità dei suoi prodotti. La carne è regina indiscussa di questo evento, il più carnivoro d’Europa, tra barbecue, musica e voglia di stare insieme. Il festival, quasi leggendario, si svolge ogni anno nel Tobacco Dock, edificio storico situato nei Docklands, nella zona orientale di Londra, sul Tamigi. L’edizione 2023, svoltasi dal 31 agosto al 3 settembre, è stata l’ennesimo successo. Divertimento, carne stupenda, tanta musica. Recent Commission: As chefs from near and far stoked their fires for Meatopia Festival, I ventured north of the river to the rather aesthetically pleasing Tobacco Dock in Wapping to shoot for Redheads Wine. The Rock & Roll Aussies certainly know a thing or two about grapes, with their Barossa Valley winery dedicated to liberating the best grapes in South Australia. So if you’re after a good drop that’s a cut above the rest, look no further than RedHead Wines. Big thanks to Mr. James North.
