Slugtember Day 25: Mecha Beast

Drew a tiger mecha beast for my OC, Yasmin. The model name is FU-02 and has been nicknamed Fu Fu

key notes about Kage’s Mecha J-NX (Jinx)

Like I mentioned before J-NX is based on a panther and it’s basically the counter part to the L-KE models.

Both mechas some a simulat ish build. But importantly J-NX is much more agile than L-KE due to being built for mobility in mind capable of traversing through difficult or tricky obstacles that its sibling model couldn’t. It also has special padding on its feet that allows it to have quiet steps and softer landing.

It has a mechanical shadow clan like tail to not only boost it’s mobility but also can sling slugs without Kage having the trouble of getting his staff blaster ready in mecha fights. However it means that he had to wear the Shadow clan harness so the tail can get his slugs and sling them like a shadow clan’s. It’s also the strongest part of the mecha since the mecha itself a little frailier than L-KE despite sharing identical stat block

I've been working on this drawing for over a month lol. I was torn between making her mecha beast a tiger or a horse 🐅 🐎 because they're my favorite animals haha but I decided on a horse in the end! -And I'll give Theodore a tiger mecha beast!- Anyway, I got inspiration from the canon shape of Mario Bravado's mecha beast and others who have the same horse mecha beast, with a few changes to make it more appealing... A little inspiration from

@ draw_terra regarding the coloring 💜 and also my own personal touch lol. Anyway, I got tired while drawing them haha🤠🔥

Facts:

Cheetor is one of the fastest mecha-beasts, designed for reconnaissance, interception and rapid attacks. Thanks to its well-thought-out frame, it is stable even during sharp maneuvers and is able to move almost silently at full speed. It is able to jump over wide gorges, cliffs and enemy barriers.

uh anyway, this is Chicky, Mane's Mech Beast that is molded of a Peahen, a female Peacock. I was going to go with the handles being the head feathers, but after some shenanigans to try and make it work , I realized it would look a little weird? so joystick controls, but I do like the idea if and handlebars/controls being movable on Mecha Beast's so I may change it later if I attempt to draw Chicky again? there is also a little pack on Chicky, just filled with seemingly random stuff lol.

A sketch of what Kira's mecha-beast looks like, the mecha-beast model is VX-C "Cheetor". I tried to make it look like a cheetah. Tomorrow I'll do it in color and also show what blasters Kira had.
