How did you receive your first Pokemon?

Riley kept quiet for a few moments at the question, his eyes drifting off to where he kept his Pokeballs clipped onto his belt.

"I guess I might’ve been about.. five." He started, trying to remember the moment he had received his Lucario, then a Riolu. "I never really wanted Pokemon, but Mother Dearest told me that I simply must have at least one with me.”

He rolled his eyes for a moment, before continuing on."I was, of course, enamoured with books, so I contemplated on what I wanted for a Pokemon, which usually, at five.. wasn’t something most would do. But then again I was an antisocial kid with an addiction to libraries, so what can I say."

"There was a older woman nearby who had a Riolu, but a lot of kids stayed away from her because they thought she was.. messed in the head. To make this long story short, she died, the Riolu ran off and hid in the library. I had been there with my mother when we found it, and I just started taking care of it.”

"It definitely had an attitude, but I guess the little thing grew onto me and now here I am, with my absolutely lovely Lucario.”

can't answer these asks just yet, so how about some flint / volkner for the shipping meme? ovo

Put the keys in the ignitionshipping. 

Who cooks: Flint, but sometimes they do it together just to spend more time around each other. After supporting his hefty appetite and Buck, Flint learned how to cook, even more when he went with Volkner on their adventure. 

Who does the laundry and other chores: Oh my god, I see Volkner having the hardest time getting Flint to do chores when he wants them done so he probably does them most of the time before Flint can get to them. Flint is also the worst at laundry; he’s one of those guys that throws it all in and sees if he can get lucky without ruining anything. Haha, he also uses the dryer to store his clothing. Flint is better at doing things revolving around yardwork and if he has to wash the dishes? Sud-fights. 

How many children do they have: All the children. I think they both bring out the kid in each other sometimes soooo that’s enough for them!

Who’s more dominate: Flint. Volkner can try, but Flint has no problem invoking something whether it’s sexual or nonsexual. Trust me, he’s got plenty of ideas to keep Volkner pretty busy, even if he has to drag him around when he’s feeling down. 

Favorite nonsexual activity: Just being around each other. Flint honestly would have the hardest time choosing because he always likes to be around Volkner. He can pretend the other gets to him sometimes, but that’s just what makes it special from playing video games, to having deep conversation between each other, drinking, battling, sparring/rough housing, and just plain living their lives for who they are.

Their favorite place to be together: In bed. No I’m kidding. In this RP, they have this little fort/cave that they always went to to do their boyish shenanigans. From scheming, to just letting something off their chest, they always find themselves drawn to that single spot. It’s like their secret safe haven. That’s also usually where Flint thinks about the ‘what ifs’ the most before a relationship even came to be. 

Any traditions: Rock, paper, scissors decides EVERYTHING. But on a more serious note I see them recognizing certain dates (the day they started their adventure being one of them, the day they became friends being another), and having this radical super secret handshake.  

Their “song”: Hey Brother - Avicii but if you mean something they listen to and jam out to? I need to just go make a playlist because Flint and Volkner seem really big on music. 

What they do for each other on holidays: Flint, though he might not seem like it, is huge on Holidays. He would make it as special as he could and is the one that would remember dates even if he might pretend sometimes that he forgets. I see Volkner taking this very seriously too and that, sometimes, might make it a contest on who can outshow the other. Boys…

Where did they go for their honeymoon: If they got married I see Flint having the hardest time pulling Volkner away from his gym so it would be at one of the islands near Sunyshore. If it was at a point where he could get Volkner to let Buck run his gym so he could complete his goals and join up with the Elite Four, then I see them spinning a globe, dropping their finger down on it and then looking up which one they like the most. They could both be bad ideas, but they’d be too stubborn to go back on it. I see this becoming a reoccurring thing on their anniversary too. 

Where did they first meet: Someone was picking on Volkner when he was little, and while Volkner wasn’t exactly NICE to Flint at the time, Flint took up for him and that’s kinda how the ball got rolling. Infact, it even got a rivalry started as Flint believed it would help Volkner gain some backbone and confidence in himself, and you know what? It worked. He hasn’t told Volkner this though and probably never will. 

Any pets: Their Pokemon are all they need when it comes to companions.

What do they fight over: The stupidest— I mean only the IMPORTANTEST—things. 

Do they go on vacations, if so where: They go on places on a whim— if/when they have the time to do it being busy with gym/elite four duties. Unless, of course, they’re both in the E4 at this time which I’d go as far as to say any out of region business would be like a vacation to Flint, with Volkner trying to pull him back to task— sometimes he might fail buuut thems the breaks. Fun is important too!

Sad headcanon :

Kris tends to internalize grief, rarely showing her sorrow on the outside. She’s one to try and turn anything into a positive, but still struggles to this day with confidence issues and self-doubt. She’s a grounded person however, and refuses to show others anything besides a warm smile.
