What kind of artist do you look up to?
Do you have any philosophy on your art?

It's a long one, so buckle up!
What kind of artist I look up to? On the technical side, there's a whole lot (including artists without a professional profile or anything!), but what I find more interesting to answer is who I look up to in terms of what kind of artist I want to be. I'm drawn to artists who I believe can capture interesting ideas with an energy of having done so in the heat of the moment. What ideas I find interesting...are kinda all over the place, but if I get the feeling an artist has truly found themself, then I want to study their journey. As for the energy part, I think highly rendered works are impressive, but I'm more into art that focuses on the important bits. In real life, you remember specific details, but never the entire scenery, right? I think being able to portray this is what gives a true life-like feel to art. Some of my favorite artists are @/amphibianshaped, kotoinari, Dean Cornwell, niy_koubou, Cao Hui, and Krenz Cushart.
I think art is a way artists to make sense of their inner world. With art, you can express a multitude of thoughts and feelings in a single picture, build your own world or break down this existing one with 3D shapes and lines, and select what is important and what isn't. It can be as controlled or as free as you want. I'm a very anxious person, so I'm pretty controlled with my art personally LOL...I also have a lot of art ideas because I make connections between things easily, though that same brain makes me easily unsettled by things...
On my off days (assuming no drawing), I like taking walks and biking. I also like eating tasty foods.
