Media experimentation for muscles
This is my final chosen design as I played around with media quite a couple of times to get the right tone I wanted before making my garment.I chose for my final to use a combined illustration as I thought it would work out after talking and thinking about it.This was the right choice to choose as their is so much detail I can add to this dress using different textile technique and experimentation with more designs of textile pieces.
Here are my other four set of design illustrations as this time I took inspiration from Mexican tradition and the musician pathway with the los Muertos theme tradition they celebrate.
I covered these designs with working samples to get an idea how this would be created with imagination and creative mind thinking.
Here I wanted to experiment with media before deciding exactly how I want my final dress to look like, including the small embroidery and flowers on the dress.
Also,I had to think carefully about the theme and if this would work with the colour match with Mexico and China style
This is the process of creating a colour palette and doing media experimentation.
Here I had to work on my illustration and work with different materials such as pro markers, pencil crayons and collage.I used all the different techniques of each material to create 10 designs and presented them in my sketchbook professionally. I decided to get a dark red paper for display and rip them I different sizes and stick them where I think it would go well for my designs. Overall, I think this was very affective and useful thing for me as It h gave me more chance to experiment what would go better for my final 10 using different media on the tops.
