Crochet x Bookbinding Workshop - workshop facilitator
This Spring I collaborated with alwayshing to create this workshop combining crochet and bookbinding. Participants made a multi functional crochet leaf sprout (which can be used a bag charm/book mark/cable tie) and a simple 3 hole stitch booklet. Thanking all participants on joining us on a cosy evening to crochet and bookbind together. alwayshing is a community artist and historical researcher with a keen interest in interdisciplinary collaboration. She co creates supportive and inclusive spaces by blending crochet, community engagement and archival research to support participants in engaging with art. kamipaper is an upcycle bookbinder, community artist and arts facilitator, who likes to share East & South East Asian (ESEA) diaspora stories and is interested in sustainability and nature.
