[relatable-psychosis]

I just started Seroquel/quetiapine fumarate Sunday [Nov. 15] for psychosis & severe insomnia. Do any of the mods/admins or perhaps followers have any warnings/experience with this med? Thank you! I also have OCD, can it perhaps help that as well?

I have been on Seroquel,it helps with sleep and did have a small effect on my psychosis, I was on a rather large does (I was put on it as a crisis management drug after a severe episode). It made me groggy and tends to cause weight gain. 

It helped with my anxiety (i don’t have OCD i have GAD and trauma problems)

I went off of it because they wanted to try another medication to better manage my mood as well as the other things.

Intake:

Morning Meal:

2 Van's gluten free blueberry waffles with almond butter, and agave nectar on both

Cup of Earl Grey tea

Snack:

2 small apples, mix of raw pecans and almonds

Snack 2:

Sriracha Tortilla Chips

Dinner:

Off-brand corn flake and dried strawberry cereal with soy milk

1 small apple & 1 large banana

Late snack:

Cup of Chamomile and a trader joe's maple leaf cookie

(I know that it is not a lot, my new medication has caused a loss in my appetite. Just recording this to monitor my intake to make sure i eat enough)

If you're curious I am currently taking 2 mg of Klonopin and 200 mg of Effexor for my chronic anxiety and social phobia
