Anuket was in a coma for five years because of a car accident. The scientist falsified documents authorizing her transference to another hospital and took her to their facility to make experiences with her. They were trying to reach the souls of the dead and to bring dead people to life, so they choose some close-to-death people to experiment with.
Because of the experiments the scientists made on her, she's now capable of talking with people in coma, with the dead souls stuck in this world, and with those who died not long ago. She's also capable to invocate souls who are willing to come to talk with the living, and she can make others talk with these souls too, but it consumes much energy, and she doesn't do it unless necessary.
She is Ichika's friend and loves going Trick or Treat with her to scare some kids. She jokes that she doesn't know if Ichika is dead or not, and uses it to scare people sometimes.
