Yesterday was great. We finished projects earlier than expected and I got an early start on bedding changes so I spent the whole afternoon variously holding, photographing, and providing enrichment for the rodents. Everyone got new rattan balls, apple tree sticks, and wooden chews, and the mice and rats got forage boxes stuffed with dried veggies. I also put together sets of toys for each cage of rabbits with a forage box stuffed with dried rose hips and dandelion greens included:

It was nice to be able to take my time. Usually I'm on a time crunch during daily care because of work. I'm super sad that I go back to work tomorrow. Don't suppose anyone wants to just send me $500 a week for the rest of my life so I can quit my day job and just stay home cuddling rats?
