dude my brain hurts rn bc of rick and morty okay listen to this theory that im partly making up and people have also talked about before: remember the mega seeds from the first episode? the ones that morty put up his butt and gave him temporary super intelligence, that rick couldnt carry bc they would fall out of his butt? (ew) and remember evil morty, the one that controlled a rick, murdered other ricks and tried to frame Our Rick for it? he hates ricks obviously. and morty doesnt know many good coping skills. what if.... fueled by a hatred of rick for abandoning him and belittling him so often, he turns to the seeds as a drug? maybe turns those fruits into a smoothie? drinks it throughout the day via idunnnooo a certain flask that we see rick carry throughout the series? consumes them on a regular basis in order to "compete" with ricks own intelligence ultimately trying to exact his revenge on him? and the seeds disable his motor skills just like the first episode and make him drool and spaz out on the floor, but once he builds tolerence the seizures subside leaving??? *drum roll* a super intelligent. stuttering. drooling. self loathing addict, capable of anything. willing to go to any length to take revenge on one person for destroying all he's ever loved including his family now who does that sound like? oh shit thats right. rick. if rick and morty are the same person it would explain why rick is so hard on him all the time. he hates himself. and his grandpa. so he killed another version of him and took his place so he could be with his family.
