Okay, now I have to.  Mega Solrock and Mega Lunatone.

Mega Solrock Rock/Psychic Ability: Solar Essence - applies Levitate, gives STAB to Fire moves, reduces Water damage 50% HP: 90 Attack: 135 (+40) Defense: 105 (+20) Sp. Atk: 55 Sp. Def: 95 (+30) Speed: 80 (+10) Notable moves: Bulk Up, Morning Sun (WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT DIDN’T KNOW THIS?)

Mega Lunatone Rock/Psychic Ability: Lunar Essence - applies Levitate, gives STAB to Fairy moves, reduces Dark damage 50% HP: 90 Attack: 55 Defense: 95 (+30) Sp. Atk: 135 (+40) Sp. Def: 105 (+20) Speed: 80 (+10) Notable moves: Moonlight (HOW DID THEY NOT GIVE THEM THESE RECOVERY MOVES?!)

Realistically, it’s just a generalized buff, with Solrock having the option to run Bulk Up instead so Lunatone isn’t the only one getting a useful buff move.  135 in offensive stats is pretty solid, and with 80 in speed it may not matter as much to run a speed boosting nature, so Adamant or Modest is possible.  Also, recovery is needed.  I seriously don’t know how they didn’t have that already.

I have this idea in my head for mega solrock and mega lunatone, should we get them in pokemon sun & moon--

I really want to see them become like, a full moon and a supernova sun. and for their mega evolutions to discard their initial rock- typing and add water- and fire- to their -psychic typing, respectively. that’d be so cool.
