Thanks for the ask, @mega-aggron!! I enjoyed thinking about this and writing it out. =)
2. three last songs you listened to
(I just listened to a bunch of Susanne Sundførsongs in a row lmao…)
1. Susanne Sundfør - White Foxes2. Susanne Sundfør -Reincarnation3. Susanne Sundfør - Delirious
7. three songs you didn’t expect to like but eventually loved
1. Chelsea Wolfe - 16 Psyche (I got really into Chelsea’s music this year. “16 Psyche” is from her album Hiss Spun which is basically a heavy rock/metal album, which isn’t really my thing these days. But this song and album really grew on me!)2. ionnalee - Samaritan (The first song from Jonna Lee’s new solo project. I had no idea what to expect, and still don’t love the song as much as anything she did with her band iamamiwhoami, but I do like it a lot now!)3. Neko Case - I Wish I Was the Moon (The same friend that got me into Chelsea Wolfe has tried to get me into Neko Case, who is mostly a country artist. I approached with a lot of skepticism because I generally don’t love the genre, but this song is just lovely. I want to explore more of Neko’s work.)
12. three favourite songs from video games
1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Title Theme (This brings back so many amazing memories)2. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask - Final Hours (This song is truly haunting. It makes me feel like the world is ending)3. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask - Song of Healing (As the name implies, this truly is a healing melody!)
19. three songs that are your guilty pleasure
1. Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up (I unironically love this song because I’m an 80s hoe)2. Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending (I know all the lyrics to this by heart and it conjures up very specific teenage feelings lmao)3. Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles (This is a genuinely good pop song! Buuut also too much of a meme now to usually admit I like haha)
29. three songs that influenced you most (some songs change or save lives)
This is really hard. I might think of better ideas later but here were my first instinctual picks.1. iamamiwhoami - Good Worker (Inspired me to question society and the roles and identities that would define who I am)2. Björk – Undo (I listen to this whenever life seems super hard - it always reminds me that life doesn’t have to be a struggle) 3. Aphex Twin - Stone in Focus (This really opened me up to the incredible, almost spiritual power of music and sound).
