12: Choose a Scandinavian language you’d like to learn. Oooh probably Norwegian (specifically Bokmål cuz i’ve been exposed to it a little.) I like the sound of it and also that they’ve got that little a-ring letter Å) 13. Choose a Slavic (eastern European) language you’d like to learn. Probably Ukrainian or Russian? They’re pretty similar and I already basically know the Cyrillic alphabet. 14. Choose an Asian language you’d like to learn.Definitely Mandarin Chinese as it’s probably the most useful in daily life but I’d like to learn most Asian languages like Cantonese or Korean or Japanese or Thai or Hindi or well really the list goes on and on…21. What language do you think is too intimidating to learn?Oh Tibetan. It’s a language with several dialects but the written form hasn’t changed in centuries while the spoken form has. The issue is now none of the pronunciations are properly rendered by the script so you basically need to learn Old Tibetan to write and just map it to new standard spoken Tibetan. (The worst part is the script is beautiful, at least imo.)

1. Chelsea Wolfe - 16 Psyche (I got really into Chelsea’s music this year. “16 Psyche” is from her album Hiss Spun which is basically a heavy rock/metal album, which isn’t really my thing these days. But this song and album really grew on me!)2. ionnalee - Samaritan (The first song from Jonna Lee’s new solo project. I had no idea what to expect, and still don’t love the song as much as anything she did with her band iamamiwhoami, but I do like it a lot now!)3. Neko Case - I Wish I Was the Moon (The same friend that got me into Chelsea Wolfe has tried to get me into Neko Case, who is mostly a country artist. I approached with a lot of skepticism because I generally don’t love the genre, but this song is just lovely. I want to explore more of Neko’s work.)

Aphex Twin - Stone in Focus (This really opened me up to the incredible, almost spiritual power of music and sound).

it can. really scare me and throw me for a loop. it takes me a couple months to adjust but i think i can eventually
