curious so how different or similar do you imagine hizashi and shouta's first meeting to have gone compared to megamind's? also since the movie didn't give us one, how do you think eraserhead and mic's first meeting went
I wanted to evenly mix Megamind and the BNHA universe so I took some bits from Aizawa's flashback in Vigilantes. In which I wanted Hizashi to at least see and acknowledge Aizawa when they're younger. I wanted him to maybe encounter Aizawa during Aizawa's internship after Shirakumo's death when Hizashi is still small time. More of vandalism and theft and stuff, But for the MegaMic! au I want Mic more obsessed with Aizawa than allmight, hence why he's always kidnapping him. Probably because the first time he's ever caught by a young Eraserhead, They chat a little and Mic sees that Eraserhead really cares about the people in the less than savoury parts of town. Since he wants to be an underground hero. He does like to make a scene in fighting top heroes because He's very flashy, so that's more why he dukes it out with all might. And of course he actually becomes more upset thinking he actually killed somebody. Present Mic is flashy and wants to draw attention to the wrong doings of society, but he never truly means to hurt anyone.
for your mega mic au, how do you think mic and shinsou met?
I've actually thought about that a lot! For the MegaMic! au, Mic became a villain because that's what everyone said he was and only could be with his quirk being so destructive! Much like how everyone assumed Megamind could only be a villain. So instead, I Have a Young Hitoshi Shinsou going down much the same path. He accidentally uses his Quirk on someone in public when he's younger and set the street into a panic. But having a vocal 'villains' Quirk too he almost kind of kidnaps/offers him a place to stay and when he finds out Shinsou is all alone he takes him in because deep down he's a big old softie! Shinsou was maybe 12 years when the street incident occurs and Mic whisks him away so he can't be taken in by cops or sent to a juvenile home because Mic knows they how much they suck when your labeled a villain!
Villainy is harder than it looks!
