💙Megamind Edit💙
We were learning about flamenco music in my spanish class and listened to the song "Bamboleo" by the Gipsy Kings (i recognized it because of tiktok lol) and I imaged an edit of Megamind with the song so I created it! (I have a ton of other Megamind edits but this is the most recent one lol)
Analysis of Hal Stewart's character
While Hal Stewart/Titan/Tighten is a pretty reprehensible character who displays entitlement towards Roxanne, I do think his character is a little more complex than "creepy nice guy". Now, I'm not excusing his actions, but the thing about fictional characters is that they are not real, you can like their character and even sympathize with someone who is evil and irredeemable without condoning the evil that they do.
Hal Stewart displayed genuine affection towards "Space Mom", his interactions with Megamind and Minion disguised as his parental figures were really heartfelt, he seemed to love receiving the love and positive attention which he probably rarely if ever receives in his daily life, being a socially awkward outcast.
Because of this, I believe that one major reason for Hal's villainy is that he was heartbroken when Megamind revealed that it was all a sham. By that point, even if he did act creepy and entitled towards Roxanne and was committing crime, he wasn't a world-destroying murderous maniac. Megamind revealing that who he thought was a father figure to him was just manipulating him all along was the catalyst that turned him into a monster. If his response wasn't to kill people his outrage would be completely justified.
So yes, Hal Stewart does deserve some sympathy, if you see it from the perspective of "lonely socially awkward outcast was tricked into believing there were people who truly cared about him, only to discover it was all a sham."
Hal didn’t include Santa Claus in his monologue, I think he, uh. I think he still thinks Santa Claus is real.
I created this meme to spite god.
Hal from Megamind is literally human Ashfur wtf
