爱上哥們 is truly something else ✨🫣🤭

It is giving me a fill of kisses - that I never asked for but am very okay with here - to make up for the whole last three decades of drama-viewing. Every other scene is of the main leads jumping each other every opportunity they get 🔥😳🫡

Not sure whether to kick up my feet and squee and swoon or avert my eyes 😅😳🤭🫣 But it is giving lovely vibes because the fact that the main pair is very much in love with each other came across brilliantly ❤️‍🔥 And that is beautiful, sweet and heart-moving 🥰 (and made up for many of its flaws)

I am not sure what makes me more rabid - her undressing down to her undershirt to hold him all night, the way she plays with his hair and stroke his cheek the morning after, or the sleepy happy grin he gives her half-awake.

That f*cker really locked Yanuo on an exposed rooftop just because he wanted to escape the questions. 

And then it started raining. And this is where the situation gets into dangerous territory. Rain isn’t too bad if you have access to shelter and warm clothes.

And clearly there was none of that, plus Yanuo was stuck there long enough for their parents to get concerned.

She’s been in the rain long enough to get hypothermia, which can kill you.

Zifeng can’t open the lock by himself (that‘s a tiny basic lock and you can’t open it by bashing it a few times? But I guess it’s impossible for heroic rescue purposes…) And you know the timing is getting critical when she wants to sleep.

So at first this drama is beyond cute and the storyline and pacing is very on point. The chemistry between both fathers (bromance is so cute here) and daughter is so adorable you can get a cavity 🙃 Then comes to the point there’s 72 episodes. I say about around thirty to forty episodes in I started feeling the burnout. It started to get awfully repetitive, the characters never developed hardly, going nowhere and it just got plain boring honestly after awhile . Now since I’m a fan of most of Megan Lai’s work I just fast forward through most scenes plowing ahead and it seemed fine. Overall It does have some cutesy moments with some nice messages about family. It’s just loooooong, so pace yourself. If only they edited it down some and shorten it a bit this would be a definite fav.
