So question, is there a proper name for all those Megatron lookalikes? By which I mean, characters that look like and/or are connected to Megatron, typically having a part of his name in there as well, but aren’t the real Megatron?

Examples of what I mean are: Galvatron, BW Megatron, Megaempress, Gigatron (?), Megastorm, Megaplex, Magmatron, and probably others I don’t know of

There’s so many of them, I feel like there should be some sort of term or grouping for these sorts of characters, but as far as I know, there isn’t one. Does anyone know what the term for these sorts of characters are, or do they need one to be created?

I'm going to say they do not, in fact, realize until after the war ends and they've gotten together for a second time and are sorting through old pictures and even then assume it is their own old photo. Skyfire is the one who let's it out of the bag when he shows up sees it and says "Oh, Starscream I didn't know you had photos from school still! Do you want me to bring the one we took the night you and Megatron met at Macaddam's?" Because he was the wingman and reasonably assumed both had realized whom the other was.

Cue both going "WHAT?" and having to realize they didn't have a type and have in fact just been dating each other through out different reframes and name changes.

Starscream is horrified. Megatron is embarrassed he didn't notice. They both realize that all their other ex was also each other when Starscream admits he used to be all blue and go by Ulchtar for awhile and Megayron admits he'd been green and went by Megastorm briefly in his youth.

Skywarp is disappointed that the fun was ruined, but at least got a laugh.

It's the middle of the night, but I need people to know I just finished Beast Wars 2, and I genuinely think it is a brilliant show that more people need to watch. It starts out as a very silly time and smoothly gets more and more serious. Like I can't begin to express to you how amazing it is. Both the Maximals and Predacons (called Cybertrons and Destrons) have the same goal, to achieve peace. But obviously, they have very different ways. It's an argument of peaceful protest versus disruptful protest, as a lot Transformers media does. I also just find Megastorm to be an amazing character who gives me a lot of feelings, as he spends the whole show as this scheming little betrayer but is shown to be genuinely very skilled and wants nothing more than to be valued. Despite that fact, he is very frequently and easily belittled, which usually leads to him doing something rash and THAT'S when his ideas go wrong. I could go on a massive rant about just him. Anyway, I definitely recommend Beast Wars 2 for anyone who hasn't seen it because it's amazing. Seriously, don't let the goofy start fool you.
