well meghas a military bootlicker (influenced by her general family including her mom) who ran away when she was 16 and was homeless for a while. she was hopping around different bus routes until she found this strange show coming up which interested her … maybe shell stick around and wait for the next one to come. turns out that was one of brocks shows and when she saw “burning spice” (drag persona) she thought it was PEAK military masculinity and she stuck by him for a while in hopes that he would teach her how to be stronger. turns out he taught her how to be kinder. and now she misses her mom. brock discovers she can help people

it does take a bit though be warned. megha ied

chonglis mom died and now they have a grieving parent + a step parent unsure of what to do of this and they’ve been neglected for a bit. mackaynzie took up dog walking to scrounge around for extra money and she ended up meeting chongli when they kept going out to see the dog (named dumpling, its a little small white puppy) . so by doing so mackaynzie looks out for them a little because jesus arent they five where are their parents etc. etc. and it helps chongli feel a little less lonely all around and they get to process how they feel about their mom dying because kids process all that differently!!!

BLAKE AND CANDACE needed a tutor so their parents shanon and miller hired spencer. turns out blake and candace are ALSO neglected and spencer can see that a lot. candace gets picked on a lot by blakes friends and thats because blake used to get picked on by blakes friends. he lies to himself to try and stay alive (socially) but spencer can show them that they dont need to do that. blakes the “favorite child” leaving candace as the scapegoat and its for once that someone finally shows an interest in her hobbies/is willing to engage with her on the simplest of things does she realise that she can indeed be happier like this. also blakes some form of nonbinary transfem and spencers her gender envy awakening and she [blake] is SO goddamn mad about it because why cant she be normal. its because that would be lying to yourself blake

candace does show up at his house though. like multiple times (they dont even have a dog why do they have that dog door)

pav and shirley work together at this shitty starbucks ripoff where they make the most diabolically sugary drinks that only emmaleigh would drink because 1. theyre more sugar than drinks and 2. theyre also pink. turns out that was stupidly bad for their mental health where ones a closeted transfem and the others a repressed transfem whos trying so hard to pass as femininely as she can even when it makes her unhappy sometimes (shirley im telling you. put down the razor blade you do not need to shave the PEACH FUZZ on your FACE) its only when emmaleigh comes in with holly and holly defends shirley from a shitty customer does she realise that she deserves better and that she deserves to be happy. and that in turn makes pav decide that she deserves to be happy too (being a woman) . before they would straight up just scroll through trans subreddits and judge people based on whether they passed or not they were that miserable as people and both are extremely glad that theyre at a place where theyre not that shitty and also not that insecure. life can be beautiful

and charleston is sylvesters favorite repeat customer at the 24 hour gas station store with her powdered sugar donuts. shes a graveyard worker and likes to tip extra. sylvester knows almost nothing else about her. she also likes annoying sylvester very mildly in the middle of the night simply because
