I hate when people the ship dynamic between TFA Megop some seme and uke shit. Especially when Optimus gets portrayed as being weak and submissive. They're supposed to be equals!! They bested each other in battle!! They're leaders of opposing armies!! Aahhhh!!

Blackarachnia is truly my girl and I love her. However, I don't like her being flirty as a way to manipulate others. We didn't see it with her when she was Elita and while it could be explained as trauma response, I still don't like it. I think she should be upfront and confrontational like she was in the first episode of the series. Having her be weirdly flirty with random characters just felt gross and unnecessary.

Shockwave in canon needed more character development, specifically his exact motivations. Him being willing to crush Blurr to keep his identity a secret was great! But Megatron reveals himself to Arcee, blowing Shockwave's entire cover story and plan to manipulate her into talking and he's not even a little mad?? Like I get that he's extremely loyal, but my guy should've been pissed at least, since getting info would so much harder.
