my timeline as mei was so.. idk.. ‘normal’ compared to the pixar film? turning red was super flashy and magical because uhh it’s a fucking pixar movie and it basically demands it LOL but uh yeah. it happened in a universe basically identical to this one. i have weird vivid memories of my old school and wanting to rip people to shreds and growing out of my awkward total softy suckup weird tween phase and it makes me feel both nostalgic and humiliated.. i was just some kid. my sourcemates are basically the same way too which fucking rocks

the panda stims are back.. we had a free period earlier and someone offhandedly mentioned turning red. the girl in front of me said ‘can we watch turning red?’ and then suddenly EVERYONE was asking and I kinda got up in my seat and my hands kinda went up (red pandas when surprised will get as tall as possible and lift their paws up :P) and I was like “CAN WE WATCH TURNING RED?????”. it was embarrassing but it’s sort of validating that i get strong sudden panda shifts whenever I feel strong emotions.
