It’s literally not someone’s fault for misinterpreting. I saw your post and I have trouble focusing on reading things sometimes so I honestly didn’t know wtf u were sayin and that part confused me too. please don’t act like they were trying to be malicious, they didn’t know any better and got upset, but that’s not their fault and it wasn’t my fault either

See, I would be much more willing to give them the benefit of the doubt had they not come to us to scream at us on anon. Them misunderstanding really isn’t our responsibility, and them making something up that we didn’t at all say definitely isn’t our responsibility. When they’re the one throwing accusations, it should be on them to know what was happening. We were saying that bisexuals aren’t pandering to the “lesbians turned straight” fetish because they’re never lesbians and they’re attracted to men the whole time. That is no reason to come at us like this.

is it bad to not want to be bisexual? does that make me bi with internalized biphobia or something? i previously identified as bi for a while but i realized im not attracted to men, its always been something i did to please others and eventually convinced myself it made me happy. lesbian feels right, but i keep trying to catch myself being attracted to men. i dont want to be with a man but i feel like i cant think for myself or something so im probably faking. and then comphet is confusing

Is it bad to not want to be bi? Not neccesarily. There is a lot of hate thrown towards bis so it would make sense for them to have internalized some of that hate (making them want to disidentify out of bisexuality and identify as something else, even though in the end they are still bisexual).

However, if you catch yourself actively trying to find attraction in men, if you catch yourself being “attracted” to men for the sake of others I mean... it sounds a lot like you’re just a lesbian experiencing compulsory heterosexuality which can be a really tricky minefield to navigate through. What I would say is if you don’t feel attraction to men (as in, naturally you feel no attraction - without the eyes or judgement of others) then trust yourself. Trust on your attraction to women and you’ll find that things fall into place from there. You don’t have to verify, validate or prove your sexuality to anyone. Not even to yourself :P It’s ingrained into you and no one can change that no matter how hard they try.
