Absolutely adoring your Dark Brotherhood character drawings, the lineart and colouring style you have is just so good to look at. Could I ask what program/brushes you use for your lineart?
Thank you so much!! <3 I use Photoshop CC'21. I can’t share my brushes because I bought some of them a while ago and don’t really remember which ones are free :> But I mostly use a standard square brush lol with the ''transfer - pen pressure'' option and usually try to keep the opacity/flow at 100%.
In more detailed artworks I like to use the brush packs by Grzegorz Rutkowski. I bought these two brush packs (1 and 2) but you can also start from his free pack and see if this style fits you. At first, I didn't get how to use these but then I switched my Wacom Bamboo tablet to Wacom Intuos Pro, and wooow it was a nice difference and a lot of brushes work much better with the Intuos Pro. And I also love Kyle T Webster brushes, I think that everyone can find something that fits them in his packs.
And a bit about lineart - I don't really do one, I often add more black lines on the top of coloring...it's hard to explain but my painting process is so chaotic that I can't even describe it or make a proper tutorial :^) earlier I was kinda nervous about my lines and the fact that i don't have any patience for proper line art but recently i decided to not care about that and leave my artworks more painterly as they are and don’t bother about it heh. Maybe this old step by step post will help - my process kinda remained the same since then. I do a loose sketch then add some base colors underneath and then just paint on the top xD and i try to treat every surface like a faceted plane?? kinda. how do u even explain this stuff in english aaaaaaaaaa
