An Evening of Ponderings at the Theatre
Three figures sit in the room.
The room can be dark, or lit, to varying degrees by any sort of light source. How large is the room? What is its shape? Where is each figure in the room, and how do they sit?
One figure is THE MELIORIST (as M), one is THE DETERIORIST (as D), and one is THE PROJECTIONIST (as P).
M smiles a knowing smile, while D repeatedly bangs his knee. Someone takes a picture.
...just stop. Fade this whole scene right off and away.
A young boy, of about eleven, appears on the now-blank screen. He walks to the edge, and jumps down easy.
"I don't know what kind of adventure this is, but lots of people think that I'm maybe M? And I can be human sometimes, and I make all sorts of things better!
"I think you were watching something all weirdy, and it might have asked some good questions? But I don't know where it was going, or how it fit what you really wanted?
"Anyway, it was a short adventure I think now, and even though I interrupted it all rude-like, I hope you had lots of fun!"
With that, J ("Right! Yay!") bounds off to... to... somewhere else..., leaving a dark and empty theatre.
