@mell-bell I was actually curious about this too so I looked it up! I knew most of them but not the goat or eel.
Turns out mountain goats are actually a form of gazelle, and eels are a kind of catfish. A king cobra is a snake just not technically a cobra, and a maned wolf is the only canid of its kind!*
*Canids are the same general family as wolves and foxes and dogs. Maned wolves are in a category all on their own.
A horny toad is a type of lizard. A peacock mantis shrimp is a type of crustacean (as are shrimp) it’s just not specifically a shrimp. Classifying species and animals in biology gets insane, that’s all I can tell you.
