Holy cow, I haven’t done one of these ages. Brand new friend @rumpixel tagged me and I’m excited, sooooo onward-
1. Nickname: Sab, Liza
2. Zodiac: Pisces
3. Height: 5′5
4. Last movie I saw: The Basis of Sex, that badass Ruth Bader Ginsburg movie that I managed to keep a dry eye for until the last five minutes. At which point I busted out crying because “we can still change stuff, it’s gonna be okay”. So thanks, RBG. <3
5. The last thing I Googled: "vacuum exorcism commercial”- Join me, kids. It’s hysterical.
Though if you look at my phone, I’ve got like ten Google tabs open regarding ice rescue and cold shock effects because I’m writing a drabble after a year-long dry spell (?!).
6. Favourite musician: Florence + the Machine, hands down. I’m pretty sure Florence is a druid. Or a siren. And I would crash my ship into rocks in a heartbeat for her, no question. Gorgeous voice, red hair, very chipper, and totally brilliant.
7. Song stuck in my head: "Under Pressure” by Queen/David Bowie (”Cause love’s such an old-fashioned word/and love dares you to care for the people on the edge of the night/and love dares you to change our way of caring about ourselves/This is our last dance (x2)/This is ourselves under pressure” I was born in the wrong era. I’m just sayin’. Excuse me, I have to go fan myself while weeping into a pot of sangria.

12. Amount of sleep: 5-7 hours
13. Lucky numbers: I’m sorry, I just don’t have any numbers I consider particularly lucky. Favorites are 7 and 14 though.
14. What am I wearing: For once, I’m semi-fancy. Jeans, but pretty brown boots and a dark blue wool sweater with a scoop neck. I feel pretty and that’s cool.
15. Dream job: To be frank, I love my job as is. I’m a pipe drafter, which means I get to draw and translate digital engineering plans. I get the creative side and the mathematical side at the same time. And for the first time in maybe ever, I feel like I could lead a team, be good at it, and be happy doing so.
BUT. “Dream job” isn’t really something I ever consider because it literally has the word JOB in it. And not to be horribly anti-capitalist, but that’s all I ever hear about when America talks about success. A happy family, a big yard, a job you love that pays you truck loads of money- when really, all I want is a job I enjoy going to work for (which I currently do) that also gives me time to decompress afterwards and just write or sleep or play games. I like my hobbies. I like my friends.
But easy answer? Um- something where I get paid to travel. Or running a gamer vlog. I’d really love either of those.
16. Favourite food: Jambalaya, this really fantastic rice, chicken, and sausage dish. Cajun. Can be spicy, doesn’t have to be. <3
17. Play any instruments: Tragically, no. I adore music and would love to play the violin, trumpet, or sax, but I’ve got a hand disability that kind of makes that an unlikely aim. I can sing a little, was in choir for years. But that’s it.
18. Favourite song: o.O This is a very difficult question for me. But even after all these years, I’m thinking “Road Regrets” by Dan Mangan. It just SOUNDS like what he’s singing about. And the racing beat that sounds like a train, that sounds like a car, that sounds like someone who needs to get out and move and forget and just CONTINUE... I really love that song.
19. Random fact: I professionally roller skated from the age of eight to twelve. Originally, it was just to introduce my body to the meaning of balance and not smacking myself into everything around me. But I ended up really adoring it and participated in a number of competitions I still have the medals for. I can’t... really describe it, but moving out there fast enough that everything turned to a blur and being able to focus and relax at the same time- I miss that.
