Aaaaand now we come to Wayer Rune, aka the Werewolf Guy. 

He’d be better remembered for his work on memory magic had he not gone out and started a wolf plague that Princess Celestia had to stop herself.

inside out memory orb tutorial!

you can see that there was some experimentation with getting these right, but in the end they were pretty easy and cheap. the total cost was probably around $5/orb? so $25 for all 5, but we already had the wire and the fluff on hand. breakdown below!

materials needed:

clear plastic ornaments- ours came from walmart and cost a dollar each

LED light orb dealie- you can find these at joanns or michaels in packs of 5 or make your own if you’re the type that has LEDs lying around

fluff- cotton batting is easiest, but cotton balls or even fabric could possibly work depending on the effect you want

wire

cheap nail polish- go for the kind that's not quick drying, but don't use stuff you already have unless you're prepared to use all of it

use a dremmel to cut into your ornament and make the opening wide enough for the light to fit inside.

put the light on a wire so you can easily adjust it or take it out of the orb.

we tried putting the stuffing and light in together at this point, but found the color of the orb to be too weak. this could be a neat effect for a different cosplay, though.

to strengthen the color, we poured a bottle of nail polish into each orb. you need to work quickly and efficiently to get maximum coverage by rolling the ornament around to spread the nail polish. it will smell very strong, and you'll probably get some on you. pour out any excess and let this dry completely before trying to put stuffing inside.

once dry, stuff all the orbs with your fluff and place the lights inside! make sure to hold it with the opening facing into your palm when posing for photos.

{It's a strange looking computer...a large keyboard with many buttons is in front of it, connected to the computer itself. Another eye-catching feature is a light rainbow-colored orb in the middle of the keyboard.}

{Touch the orb?}

>>Yes

>No

{When you touch the orb, it glows a bit, and the computer boots up. Instead of a menu or something similier, it plays a video on a large screen, the orb still glowing as it plays.}

{....................}

".....hey...."

{It's a young girl. She has pale skin, elf ears, and shoulder-length brown hair. Her eyes are an ocean blue, and she's wearing a dark blue robe...she seems about 12 or so. The background seems to be a beautiful field, covered in flowers of many different colors. They seem like the same shade as the colors on the orb.}

"....are you ok?"

{The screen now shows a young man with grey tinted skin, dark red hair, and slightly open black eyes. He looks to be around the same age as the girl. He's wearing a black torn up shirt, dark grey pants, and shattered dark red armor all over his body. He has no shoes on...his eyes open more as he finally notices the girl talking to him.}

"....w-who..."

"Oh, you're finally awake! Thank goodness..."

{The boy looks around in confusion.}

"Where....where am I?"

{The girl frowns.}

"This is my special field. I came here and saw you passed out...are you alright?"

{The boy gets up and nods, making the girl sigh in relief.}

"What's your name?"

{The boy certainly wasn't expected that.}

"...Yami...."

"You mean like that lord of darkness guy???"

{The boy looks away, not noticing that a bit of blood from a cut on his cheek is rolling down his face. A gasp from the girl makes him look back. Yami's surprised to see her using a small cloth to wipe off the blood.}

"Why are you so calm?"

"Mother said everyone deserves a chance-you didn't attack me, and I have no reason to hate you."

"But...I am-"

"No buts about it....I'm Kino."

{Yami slightly smiles when the girl says that.}

"It's a pleasure, Kino..."

{.....}

{The video cuts off there as the orb stops glowing and returns to normal, the screen once again going black....}
