Hello fellow figure skating fans~~ 2019 Worlds is coming up so I thought now would be a great time to reminisce about 2017 Worlds since it was so legendary... I remember watching it on a Chinese qq stream in the wee hours of the morning in my college dorm room, crying through Yuzuru's performance while following a live fs chat on discord...good times. I apologize for the terrible quality since this was originally recorded on my snapchat story, but I hope you enjoy!

Grand Prix of Helsinki Men’s FS Results

Yuzuru Hanyu (JPN) - 297.12 (New WR)

Michal Brezina (CZE) - 257.98

Jun-Hwan Cha (KOR) - 243.19

I can’t believe that Yuzu destroyed the silver curse by setting three new WRs. At least they are back where they belong haha.

Michal qualified for the Finals and I am very proud of him for doing that with two great skates.

And Jun-Hwan. Ahhh!! He is very much in the running for the Finals now. God, this boy is four for four now. He has literally placed in every single competition he’s been in this season. That’s crazy.

This was so far from my prediction, but I can’t say I am too dissatidfied. It was a good competition overall, even if both Boyang and Mikhail had a lot of issues. I believe in both of them to come back stronger :D

Then in the afternoon, we have : 

Smuckers Skating Spectacular                            2:30 - 4:30pm      NBC

And then rounding out the end of the day: 

European Championships Men’s Free Skate     4:30 - 6:30pm       NBCSN         __________________________________________________________

Men’s Single

I opened just in time but I had to change computers so I basically wasn't really able to watch IP and basically had to do a bit of my chores before watching sorry.

Dodds. I only watched a bit but from what I saw he made awkward mistakes.

Tang. He kinda poped his combo? Aia he messed his spin. He's kinda making me cry. This might be the first time I saw someone miss a spin. He really likes 3Lo ne? Not sure if it's because he's nervous. but I feel kind of really awkward now.

Webster. He fell on his 3A. Then popped the next. I feel awkward watching. It's not helping that Sam Smith is singing. Is he heartbroken with all of the songs? I feel kinda heartbroken now as well. I feel like I'm struggling just by watching him struggle o.o I've lost count how many jumping passes does he have? TwT aia he even has a cold

Chew. I like this guy better than the Australians sorry. I wasn't holding on to my seat struggling to watch him. I think he was supposed to Illusion but failed. I think I have high expectations of step sequences. It's almost like he's just doing it and not putting any expressions. be more expressive in your step sequence please. I'm kind of disappointed. I wish

Tsao. He fell on his A. But recovered for his combo. Why are everyone in the 1st group soo lacking in vigour? none of them look like they're having fun or even look like they're embodying the music. None of them sold their programs to me.

Nguyen. It seems like a breeze watching him. Nice to see after all my struggles a while ago. Thank you for giving me life. I was beginning to think watching the start is just gonna leave me disappointed

Sihyeong Lee. Yup. Not regretting anymore. Expressive. but his jeans are making me look at his butt screaming notice me. yeah I notice you. he's raising his arms submitting oh yeah more points more points!

Martinez. Go bb OH MY GOD HE FUCKING LANDED HIS 4Lo OH MY HONEST TO GOODNESS I AM SOO HAPPY WATCHING HIM. It's my first time to watch his FS for this season I feel really happy! The song is soo mellow but he's still honest to goodness soo dang expressive. I love you. I feel happy he can cantilever again! I love his combo! ugh you go bb! he fell on a 3Lz I was beginning to think 3Lz is his favorite. I wonder how much power he has physically he's soo expressive in his movements I wonder how tired he is after every performance. I love that he always brings his biellmann at the end. I love him! Don't take that away from me.

Yee. Another person I want to suppport now! Go SEA! I wish he and Michael would become friends and they'd be ambassadors to figure skating here or something. Also Singapore. He's also visually pleasing. oof but that one jump he was jumping in a very scary angle. WOW HE ALSO CANTILIEVERS! OH MY GLOB! I OFFICIALLY SUPPORT YOU NOW. I'M PART OF YOU  FAN CLUB AS WELL NOW. Oh yeah hahaha I love you you're adorable! Place next to Michael please! :D YES YES YES!

Kim. I find myself wincing a bit technically again. but I like him being expressive.

June Hyoung Lee. I wish I had good looking jaws. like even a small one that he does. he's not too expressive like the people before him which is kind of a shame for his good looks. I kinda don't want to comment technically
