One time a guy with whom I had a bantering and emotionally vulnerable friendship texted me at 10pm a long, unprompted dissertation on his top 3 sitcom relationships (Jim and Pam, Josh and not the blonde girl from West Wing, something else) and how he loved them because of the banter and emotional vulnerability, and he STILL had the audacity to act shocked and aggrieved when word got round to him that I thought he was possibly trying to date me
