I know I indulge in deeply parasocial behavior on here but there is a big, big difference between speculating and being silly with your friends in fan spaces, where any actor who sees what we're saying will know that they've chosen to enter a space where people are saying things that are not meant for their eyes, and going into the comment section of an actor's own account and acting like you know them. We do not know these people. It is creepy and disrespectful to go to someone you don't know and say "Hello total stranger, I know that the words coming out of your mouth are not what's in your heart and I'm so sorry that you are being forced to do something that you say you love when I know you're lying". Stop it.

The Vampire Lestat (2026)
The whole season, Armand's CSA is mocked by ALL characters â a rag doll for sale, rotten boy, etc etc. â all but one. There is ONE character who, despite his and Armand' shared history, doesn't speak on his abuse. In fact it's the one character who speaks favourably of Armand, even though he'd have every reason not to.
And then in the last episode, you have that one character APOLOGIZE TO ARMAND. Louis must atone for the sins of fucking everyone else. Why? Why not Lestat? And don't tell me it's because Armand secretly always loved Lestat more â the writers had six episodes before this one to SHOW us that Armand loved Lestat and did fuck all with it. I'm not buying it now.
He went at Louis first because it was personal. Louis exploited that abuse for his own gain, up to and including his own petty fight with Lestat, using what Armand had told him in confidence about his history.
Not saying he should have been first on the list (Marius when I fucking catch you); but where Marius enacted the abuse, Daniel is mean when heâs scared, & Lestat brings it up because he knows itâs a weakness and his general MO when angry is to hit where it hurtsâŚLouis looked Armand in the eye and intentionally played at a relationship on the condition Armand be the subordinate âpartnerâ using the same phrasing Marius did when Armand was a child. On top of that, he then exploited that relationship to flagrantly undermine vampire law and Armandâs tiny bit of control in the world before burning that world completely to the ground. He then spent 70+ years with Armand both to punish him andjust to spite Lestat
In the grand scheme of Armandâs life, Lestat & Daniel are mouthy assholes. Louis & Marius are a villain origin story.
