I have 0 friends that like BC so I’m bugging you about this— So I’ve been kinda behind on Black Clover episodes (plus I watch the dub which is always behind) and I just watched the ep where Asta and Yuno visited Hage. As an aspiring teacher I noticed Asta has the perfect energy for an elementary school teacher which got me thinking. Which characters (particularly captains) do you think would do well as teachers? (I personally think William would be a fantastic teacher)

Before I try to answer this, I should mention that one of the light novel chapters is about some of the captains guest teaching in schools! I have not read it yet.

SO without that as reference, I think that all the captains would be decent teachers under the right circumstances.

Fuegoleon and Yami are two sides of the same coin when it comes to sports/gym teachers. Fuegoleon has an eye for technique while Yami can encourage (or threaten) students to make the most of their abilities. Despite pushing their students hard though, they're both also pretty good at knowing people's limits. Whether or not they acknowledge them.... Depends.

I could see William and Charlotte being Humanities-type teachers! They both also seem like the type to be really into literature. But I'm not sure if they'd be into it in a way that would make them good at teaching it lol

Jack has the personality that reminds me of my biology teacher I had in high school so he gets science. He's the teacher that teaches you how to light your arm on fire without it burning and tells you about his old microwave in the back room that you can't stand in front of because it'll cook your boobs. And also slicing stories, of course

Dorothy is a sub/study hall teacher. If she's not sleeping she's pretending she doesn't see the wild shit going on in front of her.

Kaiser teaches history class and tells stories about his family all the time. He's well versed in what he knows but not especially interesting

Rill is obviously the art teacher. He is the best kind of art teacher if you're artistic but the worst kind of you're not because he cannot teach you how to make art. He just vibes with you if you already know how.

Nozel would not be a good teacher. He would be a lame vice principal at best. He would want to teach people he cares about but. We see how he treats people he cares about.

I think that being a captain means you have to have a lot of the skills a teacher would have so it makes sense that they would be suited for the job!

Now I'm curious, what kind of teacher so you want to be?
