When you get presented an animal who you just... you hear elevator muzak when you look into their eyes... does that ever change how you feel about their prognosis for treatment?
gettingvetted here.
Do you mean... stupid? Or just no longer mentally “there”? Because an animal’s intelligence level has no bearing on their prognosis, while an animal that is so tired, painful, sick, or otherwise damaged that they aren’t “all there” and have no will to fight anymore (more scientifically known as “depressed” and/or “obtunded”), definitely changes their prognosis.

Weigh-in day was not so much a success ---up 1.4lbs BUT last week actually was a success for me mentally.
So, let me break it down.
I would have had a loss today, but yesterday at my brothers (despite packing food) I went off track. Imagine being around a bunch of guys there for the rehab program and their families and everyone brings snacks and sweets snacks are donated by grocery stories and local restaurants, You see everyone eating and having a great time and you forget that you are not a regular person who can eat this and that without consequences. Yep, that’s what happened.
I’m not mad about it, because I had a fabulous time with my brother. He taught me a fun card game and we were laughing, and having some exciting sibling competitiveness.
As for my weekly goals chart I pretty much kicked ass again except for the one off track day of eating. So woooo... another successful week in my book. It’s not about the one day, it’s about the overall consistency.
Weekly Successes:
1) I completed a whole workout dvd from start to finish with no pauses. That was exciting and a major accomplishment
2) I tried something new by bringing my workout dvd to the gym and doing it there. Nobody was actually at the gym at the time, but there could have been and I wasn’t going to let it stop me. Hey- they would have had a nice show to watch. Hahaha
3) I legit had a first time ever adult experience. I don’t know how it came up but my brother said he bet he could pick me up. I was like whatever--because in my mind I am still that too heavy to lift girl. He totally bear hugged me and lifted my ass right up off the ground. I legit squealed in surprise and it kinda made my night. I call that a NSV for the week.
So, weight gain aside it was a grand second week and I am ready to conquer week three!
To end this post I leave you with my dinner plans for the week:
Happy Monday everyone! :)
