So like if Himeko does end up getting corrupted, Trailblazer is probably gonna blame themselves right. Especially if it has anything to do with Graphia or Ego(?)
Because im willing to bet that Trailblazer is going to take on finding Graphia on their own. I mean. Its a quest given by a narratively-doomed pink haired girl, and also kinda a side quest to whats currently the focus. It’ll probably be something they do in the background, probably totally alone.
And again. Ego(?) isnt gonna be brought up. Thats something Trailblazer has solidly put in the “Ill deal with that when I need to which will hopefully be never!” Category of things alongside ‘Transcend Finality’ and the likes.
Actually no, scratch the first bit somewhat. TB is liable to not bring Evanescia’s side-quest to anyone BUT Himeko. After all, its her ancestor. And while Dan Heng is going to be busy with Blade, and March likely remaining paired up with Welt or Sunday, Himeko is almost certainly going to return to being consistently with Trailblazer.
Especially if she does find out about Trailblazer getting violently wounded and knocked off the tower and literally only saved by an Aeon and them Locking TF In again. (She left them on their own for like 2 hours at MOST. Not even!)
Now, is telling Himeko a good idea? Better than doing it alone. Is telling ONLY Himeko a good idea? No. Why would that ever be true.
Do i seriously believe that they’ll do something like that to Himeko with it being genuinely Trailblazer’s fault? No. Do I believe they’ll make it so the Trailblazer can frame it as thier fault to themselves? Where if they had done something differently, it wouldnt have happened at all? Like with Firefly, like with Phainon, Cyrene, and all the heirs and Amphoreus?

Things have been going too well. Its about time we got emotional devastation and you all know it. Wdym we’re getting into 4.3, and we’ve got NOTHING? The only person to die/get seriously hurt has been Skott! And, much as I loved the guy, and he was a fun character, there was NOT the same emotional impact as watching Firefly die, or losing Trianne, and you know it!
Skott’s death was an “Awh, what?! Seriously?” I shed no tears for that man! He was a fun character, but also annoying. Firefly and Trianne were devastating.
Even if the 4.3 boss isnt Himeko. I need something awful to happen to her, probably because of that boss in some way.
Do it Hoyo, ‘kill’ Himeko and make Trailblazer blame themselves.
I mean, Trailblazer always locks the fuck in after losing someone they care about… 4.4 should be the climax of the Planarcadia half of 4.x, like 3.4 was Amphoreus Pt 1’s. (And 3.3 ended on a emotionally devastating cliffhanger, so like, 4.3 can follow that.)
