Fandom meme: D, I, C, K!!! Heheheheehehe
D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t (again: be nice) Red you walk a dangerous line, I could be killed for answering this. Do you wish me dead you horrible beast?
I - Has tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why What has tumblr not spoiled?
C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will (be nice) Corso/F!Smuggler and Solas/F!Lavellan. I weirdly like both of these ships gay as hell, but something about the force straightness of it all, but makes the romances kinda weird. You know how much I would like a nice dude smuggler to sweep Corso off his feet and show him that chivarly isnt dead he just might be doing it wrong? Do you know how much I want Solas to see m!lavellan and see a friend, a lover, someone who didnt ask it all and some how knows how he feels? Solas and Corso also get pegged.
K -Say something nice about someone in any of your fandoms the absolute baller idea’s my friend Robin comes up with, the way she just extends the ideas and its fantastic. Also fucking shout out to the Dorian/Adaar Dorian/Cadash artist/writers, thank you for feeding my niche love right there. You guys get it right ever time. Oh and @meonlyred for not making me hate that one ship, you know that ship red
In working with these idiots yesterday in a different ‘verse, it occurred to me that I’d never posted this gorgeous shot of my lovely Mairen and @keldae‘s Reanden on their wedding day. The fic is still in progress, but I definitely wanted to share @meonlyred‘s glorious work. =D
I was lucky enough to be able to snag a slot in @meonlyred’s commissions, as I have always adored her art. Her compositions are always so expressive, and I just adore her use of colors and light. I absolutely love how her rendition of my girl came out!
All of the details and textures are just 😘
I absolutely encourage everyone to go commission her on Twitter/Pillowfort!
Ask meme for Nirea! 2, 4, 5, and 9!!
Thank you for asking!! You are a goddess! I moved #9 up above #5 because I completely lost control and direction with that one and it turned into some kind of weird pseudo-fic and the only apology you’re going to get from me is the cut I put it under because it got so unnecessarily fucking long. Here is the link to the meme!!! I can’t promise all of my answers won’t be so excessive but ask anyway!!
2. Would they be a class specific character? (ie. Imperial Agent only. Republic character only)Nah, fam. Rea could wiggle her way into every class’ story. Whether you keep her or not would depend on your choices/alignment though.
4. Where would you recruit them from? Alderaan. She hates it there and I love to fuck with her.
9. What would they say if you clicked on them? “Hey, did you see that Cathar earlier? With that ass? Damn.”“Wanna see a trick?”“Bet you can’t do this.”“I don’t know whose idea weather was, but they deserve to be punched. A lot.”“I hear ya.”“We should get another droid.”“I just want one day where no one tries to kill me. Is that so much to ask?”“How far do you think I can bend this before it breaks?”“Hey look at this. Think it’s edible?”“Got time for some pazaak? We can play Nar Shaddaa rules.”“Are we there yet?”“Hey, do you smell that? Smells like--Oh. Shit. I think that’s me.”“See that thing over there? I bet you twenty credits I can lift it.”“Don’t mind me. Just admiring the view.”“Spot me a few creds? I’m good for it, I swear.”“You’d be so bored without me.”“Yeah, yeah. I’m with you.”“We have a saying on Corellia: Fuck off, I’m busy.”“Ugh, I’m bored. This is boring.”“Don’t look at me. This is your show.”“It wasn’t me!”“Alright you get first guess this time, chief. Is it mud or is it blood? Right there on my leg.”“Don’t worry, chief. I can’t resist me either.”
@meonlyred
Of course!! There is gonna be a hair joke at some point and we all know it
“I had to cut my hair or else I’d be too recognizable”

I feel like the consular and knight story are very much companion stories to each other. Especially when it comes to the Children of the Emperor. You learn of their existence with the Knight and your Padawan was one. But the Consular is the one who investigates and goes after them. The consular also deals more with the "politics" and lore of the Jedi. The best way I can describe it is the Knight's story is a SW movie and the Consular's is the SW books.
I think the movie/book comparison is very accurate!
I was actually thinking last night that in some ways the Coruscant plot was reminding me of some of the Jedi Apprentice books I read back in the day. The focus on investigation, and detouring into talking through problems and finding creative solutions felt very reminiscent of that, as well as giving me a major Star Trek: TNG vibe.
The Knight story is very classic Star Wars, life/death type stuff. And while the Consular has that too, it’s more subtle (at least what I’ve played so far). And I actually really like that variety. With the Knight story sometimes I almost feel guilty about the character taking a break or breather because the stakes are that high at many of the points throughout.
But like they’re also totally different genres, at least right now it seems. At its’ core, the Knight’s story is an adventure about saving the galaxy. The Consular’s seems to be a mystery about... um, probably not what it appears to be at the moment. I’m sure I’ll find out more the further I get into it.
Damn character limit! Don't you understand my NEED to rant about my love!? Anyways! Another thing I love is how many times the Consular has verbal battles with foes instead of lightsaber ones. There is at least 3 times you can circumvent a fight completely by choosing the right dialogue options. Which is super Jedi-ist. There are also several more that still end in a fight but start with the verbal battle. I have 7 consulars. Favorite? Nooooo, what!?!?
It was actually funny last night, when I went to confront Lars BadGuy Baddeg and I seemed to talk him down and the conversation ended and I was like: “Uh, wow. That was easy. I guess sometimes all you do have to do is say ‘please’ and--nope. I’m in the Matrix. Jerk.”
But I really do enjoy that there’s a more subtle and less adrenaline-fueled take on what the Jedi handle from day-to-day. I’m probably a little too attached to the Knight’s story for it to be knocked from its mantle as my favorite, but I am surprisingly enjoying the Consular storyline so far. I recall reading somewhere the writers were really excited to delve further into the mysteries of the Force and tell a completely different type of story than the one they were doing with the Knight.
