Investigators or victims? {or delete the title and insert a rather creative one} ll Ashley&William
When someone from the Headquarters had called telling her she was assigned to a case along with a detective was not that weird for Ashley. The weird part was the reason. According to the Unit Chief, a wanted serial killer had delivered two envelopes. One at the FBI with Ashley's name on it and one at a police station with the Detective's name on it as well. As far as they were concerned, these envelopes were the only keys to finally catching that killer, so Seaver and the Detective William LaMontagne had to team up and find the bastard.
As she was waiting at the conference room waiting for William to arrive, she took a hold of the small white envelope. Her fingers ran aimlessly against the flap as she ripped the paper open. She frowned once she found that the contents of the envelope was a paper embedded with codes and her name and rank in velvet red at the bottom right of the parchment.Ashley frowned at the codes, knowing how she’s seen one like it before. It hit her like a sophomore year experience. “Morse,” she whispered to herself, and then grinned in delight. She took a hold of the head of a blue seat and pushed herself to sit on it. Her mind went through deciphering the codes before her. With a sigh, she grabbed a pen from her stack and cropped a paper from her notebook before jotting down her idea so far.
The ink blotted too much on the paper, but she had no time to reciprocate the annoying pet peeve. She assembled the letters of the alphabet and began writing the Morse code of each letter. After a few moments’ reflection, her set was finally complete. It took her more than three minutes, but after all the energy she poured onto the task; she managed to decipher her clue.

Once she had written that down, the door open and the woman assumed it was her partner. ''Detective William LaMontagne?'' She turned to face him with a sad chuckle. ''I hope your envelope has some valid clues for us! The only thing I got was the title of some old book and a mythical characters. So judging by my clues...we are screwed. ''
