( @merchenary ! )
a headache today would be — she knew as much. fates divined there was a disturbance walking amongst the newly docked crew of astral travelers, unbeknowst to them. with the stellaron crisis & several mundane issues that frequently occured to plague the xianzhou, her plate was full enough. add on a stowaway & there was enough to knock any normal person down for a week — but not her.
steps led her to where the man in question was caught by the local knights. her job was simply to ascertain his motives & report back to an aging general of her findings. easy enough. once it was swiftly complete, she could return to the greater tasks at hand.
everyone ( even the air itself ) seemed to stiffen ever so slightly at her presence — providing a small scale boost of confidence. while it was not needed, it was welcomed nonetheless. how else was she to be repaid for preforming such silly tasks, in the sake of peace for all? ❛ tell me , ❜ she began, crossing her arms in a disapproving nature. ❛ shall i extend my greetings to you now , or after you are behind bars ? ❜
