National Girl Child Day 2020
The Girl Child Day was first marked in 2008 by the joint efforts of the Government of India and the Ministry of Women and Child Development. To spread awareness in the society about the inequality faced by girls as compared to boys, the Government of India celebrates National Girl Child Day on January 24. India has hailed the slogan “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” for a long time, putting in special significance to the need for education and safety of a girl child.
Girl Child- Don’t get stressed, Feel Blessed.
#NationalGirlChildDay is an initiative started by the Ministry of Women and Child Development and #Government of India to raise awareness of the challenges faced by #girlchild and ways to #savegirlchild.
Let’s make a promise and come together to build a world that will protect and promote the rights of every girl around us through better growth opportunities and #equality.
