hi everyone, ooc- splongebobby here.

if you don't know by now, or haven't seen within the last 10 or so posts under the mphfpc tag lol, the rp blogs are back with another adventure involving the evil alliance, getting into some kidnapping shenanigans (hopefully it stays as simple as having claire somewhere safe and content. im getting more into that here).

i want to start by saying that i am excited! i love running rp blogs, and i like when their is stuff for them to do and get into :) and i suppose for the sake of what ill be talking about, i need to come out and announce that i also run the horace blog, @bestdressedpeculiar ! it's been a lot of fun, both with him and bronwyn.

that being said, i want to remind everyone of the things that they have gotten into in the past, and establish what i don't feel comfortable with in the world of roleplaying. not to say that anyone has to stop what they do for the sake of me alone, but there have been instances in the past of people dropping their rp blogs because of a lack of recognition in the situations they weren't comfortable with, and i would like it if bronwyn and horace's wishes of what they don't want to be involved with would be respected.

violence, death threats, and past trauma/ptsd mentioned below.

violence. violence within the rp blogs has been an active thing early on in their development, and while it did get better temporarily, it did not last. characters threatening other characters with violence. characters being thrown into situations with violence. anything of that lot. without getting too much into my real life past or current life, any form of violence or even threatening of anything violent makes me extremely uncomfortable and triggers some bad past experiences; i was raised in a very violent household. when a character is threatening to beat up another character into a bloody pulp, that is way overkill for me.

i understand i sound hypocritical in a couple of ways. for one, the orginal series has a lot of violence in it. though in that case, i knew there would be. they are developmental to the plot. i also want to make it clear, i am not bronwyn or horace; i am someone behind the screen. although i am acting as a character, that doesn't mean that i do not feel the threats or even going as far as death threats on a semi personal level. second thing, in the current plot that is conspiring right now, i implied bronwyn would get violent if need be. i feel that it is a necessary reaction from the girl, and i know that other characters in the series would react the same. the difference is, i didn't go into detail of what she would do. it is simply stated that although she wouldn't usually condemn violence, if claire is not returned she might. she will not go into detail of anything she might want or not want to do past that. it gets worse when the treats are borderline deathly, or even straight up death threats towards the character. i understand it is towards the character. but describing how you will go about killing this character is so traumatizing to me and really is a major no no for me, a major rp turn off.

like i said, i know the orginal series has these elements. but the point of these rp blogs is to have fun. it's nothing like the orginal series; we take what was given to us by the books and/or movie, and make our own scenarios and plots for the sake of continuing anything that can happen after the canon story, or even anything that we have headcanoned. we as rp blogs rarely mention the events that happened during the orginal series, so why imply these violent remarks?

it can make sense for the character. in the case of the evil alliance, i understand potentially talking about "violence" to a degree, as in hinting to something more but not actively talking about it. when we start describing the violence, or talking about shooting, stabbing, punching, etc, other "characters", though these are not the characters but real people remember that, that is when i would no longer like to be involved. if it gets to this point, do not tag either bronwyn, my main blog, or the horace blog, because at that point i will no longer want to participate in whatever plot is going on.

this isn't trying to be mean, or discourage anyone that is an rp blog owner from going about their blog their own way. this is just me talking about my experiences, what i do not like amongst them, and slightly advocating for those that do also not feel comfortable with the elements that for some reason the rp blogs drift towards no matter what the scenario of the month may or may not be.

thank you to those that do run the rp blogs, or support them, it makes me really happy and i have a lot of fun with these. please just be weary of what ive said, and know my limits as not just bronwyn or horace, but me.

caine is such a fascinating, tragic charecter.

an ai with orginally enough creative natural intelligence to completely make up his own coding while sticking truthful to what he was made to do; be creative. only then in the process did he do terrible things. though, these terrible things aren't even his fault, are they? he can't have realistic, human emotion, he can only portray them. but that's not right. he can. and he does. he was built with creativity in mind, and creativity stems from advanced emotions. surroundings, experiences.

life.
