summary:

A series of vignettes based on “American Horror Story.” Merlin is a friendly ghost in a not so friendly murder house. Arthur is a recently divorced man who is now stuck with a mansion he didn’t really want.

comments:

I loved this podfic as soon as I heard the lilting but somehow creepy music box tones. Though this was mostly a Merthur fic, the Arwen in the beginning was beautiful. I could hear the way rowanbrandybuck was smiling as she read out loud. And the fear in Arthur’s voice! The sheepishness Merlin showed! Just...the emotion. Totally. On point.

This is (probably) the last submission for this year’s podfic bang! Well done for submitting in time :)

Arthur’s annoyance at Merlin was hilarious in this, and I couldn’t help chuckling while listening to this. His arrogance was on point, and I could tell very easily who was speaking at all times.

Trickster24 emphasises the words of the fic in all the right places, and the pacing was great in this. This podfic was only 6 minutes long, but it was really good! Also, good choice of music. I really hope they record more podfics in future.

When Merlin's magic is discovered, King Arthur chooses to take away his magic, rather than execute or exile him. Merlin agrees, hoping to win the king over. Unfortunately, nothing goes according to plan, and if they aren't careful, the coin of destiny may be irrevocably split in two.

comments:

This reading of the story was heartrendering. wastingawallflowersvessel does angst and pain so well. I especially liked Arthur’s tone of voice when he was angry.
