7.) What annoys them the most about their partner? Would they change it if they could?

Merliss gets most annoyed by Crypt overestimating their own strength... And subsequently getting proven wrong by them when Crypt manages to lug around whatever meat's in the shop. Merliss thinks that Crypt is probably gonna get hurt one day, but the Fae doesn't want Merliss to hire any larger breed for the job... So Merliss is content to keep up this status quo as long as Crypt is doing alright.

Crypt gets most annoyed by Merliss' lack of communication around the shop, but understands it. They're certainly not a talker themself, and can't expect Merliss to just suddenly adjust to another helper around the shop. They hope it'll change over time, though, because they're much better at communicating with each other outside of work.

8.) What do they like best about their partner?

Merliss likes Crypt's whole sort of... grounded otherness. Crypt can unsettle someone at a glance and they just love that. There's also something they like about Crypt's general demeanor and quiet self confidence, but... they were definitely attracted to the scary part first.

Crypt likes Merliss' unsettling charisma. They definitely both have an interest in the more morbid sides of their hobbies, and Crypt loves having someone who's not only appreciative of that, but fully embraces it with a smile on their face. Because, if there's one thing they can get behind, it's being unapologetically odd.

I'm up, if you still need to talk.

I went to the counseling center and totally broke down. Shaking, weird movements, trouble speaking - and I was just on board - for the ride, I guess. Median hasn't pushed me aside that much in... years. She(me) just... spilled. Everything. it was strange... watching my life shake out like that.

But the therapist said he's send an email out to the prof. He said that he'd suggest a week extension and that for the most part teachers agree. I hope so. I can't think about it now. I'm on no sleep. Trying to get through class. Trying to ignore it. Trying to keep going and ignore how out of control I felt, how much that reminded me of the worst parts of my life.

We'll see how it pans out.
