What if, for the sake of Quirrel holding Tiso, Tiso has spell of temporary shrinking.

He finnds no use other than to be held by boyfriend.

Rip Quirrel tho. He will fit even worse in that bathtub.

Quirrel might not being able to hold Tiso when he’s big, but he can when he sometimes decides to join on the surface (Tiso is reminded how much he dislikes legs no this ISNT a ploy shut up)

Quirrel is,,,gonna need to find something else to use to rehydrate. Not a single person expected him to like, be THAT big when returned to his original merman form (except for the mers. since that’s more their size)

Also the size difference between MerTiso and Quirrel (but it’s the period where he thinks he’s still just a human) is entertaining to me so bonus:

Markoth: I tried to kiss Xero once and I ended up poking his eye with my nose

Markoth: He laughed it off. I, however, never recovered and have never initiated a kiss after that. Xero likes doing it so it’s not too bad.
