Thinking abt Fish Boys. I've rotated a number of variations on how things would work with monsters being either mer creatures or a variety of fable-like creatures, but I have yet to settle on a specific concept, so please take these as just nebulous possibilities and nothing more

I think the Papyri would be much more inclined to be curious about land dwellers or other entities in general. UF Papyrus and UT Papyrus especially would want to befriend land dwellers, communicate with them, and learn from them. US Papyrus I feel would be more inclined toward learning about them through exploration of shipwrecks and whatnot, and be slightly more wary of direct contact (though no less curious).

I feel their brothers would be less inclined. More the types to focus on their own responsibilities, though still likely to entertain the novelty of them from time to time. I think US Sans and Papyrus would enjoy exploring land dwellers objects and trying to figure some of them out together sometimes, while UT Sans would mostly just listen to and humor his brother, and UF Sans would passively remind his brother not to get carried away by flights of fancy.

More often than not I like to imagine them being very very large, bordering on leviathan-esque, but it's also cute to imagine them being Normal Sized, and UF and UT Papyrus coming to bay like areas to snoop and explore and people-watch

I've also toyed with the notion of Fell-Types being Sirens, with Tale-Types being Just Mermonsters, so if that were true, I could see both UF brothers as being very skilled at utilizing their voices the get out of sticky situations (or perhaps UF Papyrus occasionally using his to convince land dwellers to bring him Things <3)

Ooooh sea beasts!!! Only ten though omg that's actually kind of hard. Okay. Okay.

1 - Whale sharks. They're so so silly I adore them. :0

2 - Sea otters!!! Idk if these really count but I do adore them so so much !!!

3 - Sea nettle jellyfish. They are SO so pretty but honestly almost any jellyfish. I love jellyfish <333

4 - LEAFY SEADRAGON !!! These guys are so incredible and they don't even look real irl, love love love these thangs

5 - Betta fish. My friends :*)

6 - really Any seal but ough...da harp seal. Most pathetic looking creature. What I mean when I say looks at you with big wet seal eyes

7 - HORSESHOE CRAB I LOVE YOU!!! Beastly thang that scurries...

8 - Ribbon eel! Yell at own ass fish edition. Look up a video of this thing moving it's hilarious ribbon eel I love you <3

9 - The humble sea angel. These things have always been so deeply ominous to me. What are you. I cannot be convinced they are a mere sea slug. That's an omen.

10 - Sunfish. These sons of bitches look fake and shouldn't even exist but they do anyway and I think that's hilarious so I have to bring them up every chance I get <3

Are these really my top ten? Who knows. But!! I'm so glad I can infect others with my mer propaganda, the sea is full of so much life, it's incredible!!! So many beasts!!! I need to draw more mers now also ty <3
