This is not really a translation request, but may I have the permission to host your translations of "John Doe" and "Neoplasm" in the Miraheze wiki? Not the Fandom wiki, we've moved to a new host few months ago.

I'll credit you and add all the translation notes. The script will remain intact; although the names might be altered a bit for consistency (Mikoto instead of MIKOTO, specifically), but if you don't approve of this change then it's okay too, you can just tell me first.

I think it would help to clear up confusion to some fans, since they usually rely on the old translations, which are not as accurate since the scripts weren't available back then. Which is why I want to reach out to you and ask for permission to host your work.

Yes, you may host the translations in the Miraheze wiki. Thank you for asking! The translation team would like it if the capitalization of the names to remain as is written as it was, and still is, an active translation choice. Thank you for your hard work as well! The MILGRAM Wiki is a valuable resource and archive for the fans and media that definitely takes a lot of effort to create and maintain.

Hello, admin. Saw your statement and PSA and as much as I agree with the sentiment that translation is an art worth crediting, I'm left wondering if posting Discord conversations with a (probably) unknowing party is the best idea.

I understand the points made, but I do believe that being a translator carries lots of the same responsabilities as being an online resource. Calling someone out is something I truly wish was done after using every other resource available over the situation (like contacting the involved parties)

It is entirely reasonable and responsible to care for the integrity of milgram-en's work and of the overall translation community of MILGRAM. Reduction of proper concern for plagiarism into "calling someone out" is disrespectful not only towards the affected party, but also the integrity of translation, both as an art and as a field. The involved parties were indeed contacted prior to the post. The screenshots posted are from Tiramisu and milgram-en's DMs. As Tiramisu did explicitly state "i did read their [milgram-en's] translations beforehand so i was a bit influenced by it", being influenced falls under the definition of using ideas or information and, as Tiramisu did not properly credit milgram-en, Tiramisu's actions falls under the definition of plagiarizing; "plagiarizing involves using words, ideas, or information from a source without citing it correctly" (Scribbr). It's understandable to wonder about our DMs being posted, however milgram-en is based in a one-party consent state. Other parties' DMs were not shared. Additional messages that were attached in the post are found in a public, open-access space. All milgram-en is asking for is to be fairly acknowledged for the work and effort that has been put into translation efforts.

hey, started watching milgram recently. thank you for the translations.

i haven't been able to find info about this anywhere else, but is there a schedule to when voice dramas get released and where they're originally uploaded [untranslated?]

MILGRAM's primary outlet of releasing information is through their Twitter and the original voice dramas are uploaded on YouTube. You can find them by searching up "MILGRAM [title of the voice drama] Voice Drama", uploaded under a topic. They typically look like these:

Fuuta's CD is released on August 20 which is when it will also be released on YouTube. Muu's CD is going to be released on October 22 which means her voice drama will also be released on YouTube on the same day.
